Our Comprehensive Bilingual Curriculum

At our primary school, we offer a dynamic bilingual curriculum that seamlessly integrates the arts, music, technology, and core academic subjects to provide a well-rounded education for our students. At this level is also where we implement our unique STEMMA model most effectively.
Our program is designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning, all while preparing students for success in both national and international contexts.

English

Our English program is divided into four key components to provide a comprehensive language-learning experience:

  • Book Lessons: Students explore a variety of texts, developing reading comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Reading and Writing on the iPad: Leveraging technology, students practice writing and reading digitally, enhancing their literacy skills through interactive lessons.
  • English Conversation: Delivered by trained English teachers from the UK, this component focuses on speaking and listening skills, helping students gain confidence in their conversational English.
  • English Presentation lessons empower students to become confident and effective communicators. Through engaging activities, students learn how to speak with confidence in front of an audience.

STEM Projects

STEM Projects provide students with hands-on experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through collaborative projects, students apply their knowledge to real-world challenges, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and a passion for discovery.

Engineering, LEGO, and Robotics

In our engineering and technology classes, students engage with the principles of design and mechanics. Through hands-on projects with LEGO and robotics, they develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and a practical understanding of engineering concepts.

Coding

Our coding lessons empower young learners to become creators in the digital world. Through fun and engaging activities, students learn the fundamentals of programming, problem-solving, and logical thinking. Starting with simple block coding and progressing to more advanced concepts, our curriculum is designed to make coding accessible and exciting for all ages.

Drama

Our Drama program encourages students to express themselves creatively through acting, scriptwriting, and stage production. In a supportive environment, students build confidence, improve communication skills, and experience the joy of bringing stories to life, both individually and as part of a team.

Vocal

Students will practice vocal warm-ups in various scales and work on singing songs from the Trinity College London curriculum. They will also focus on reading vocabulary and lyrics, while learning to connect emotionally with the meaning of the songs and convey their feelings. The lessons include practicing both singing and fully immersing in the moment of the music. All instruction is conducted by the teacher entirely in English.

Guitar

Students will learn the basics of playing guitar chords, explore various strumming techniques, and study the four major scales. They will also practice playing simple songs. This session will be conducted entirely in English by Teacher Sam.

Science

Our science curriculum fosters a sense of wonder and curiosity about the natural world. Students conduct experiments, explore scientific principles, and learn to apply the scientific method in a way that makes science both accessible and exciting.

Mathematics

Thai

In our Thai language classes, students study for national tests, ensuring they meet the required standards while also gaining a deep understanding of Thai culture and language. Lessons include reading, writing, and comprehension skills, all taught with a focus on national curriculum goals.

Art

Learn the design of art in the forms of painting, sculpture, and animation using digital media through iPad and applications such as digital painting (Digital Paint), 3D model design (3D Nomad Sculpt), illustration (Procreate), and game art. Additionally, there is also screen printing on wood.

Create all kinds of digital art to meet the needs of the digital content industry, including digital painting (Digital Paint), 3D model sculpting (3D Nomad Sculpt), illustration (Procreate), motion arts, and concept art design for games. Students will also learn innovative techniques for creating digital artwork. They will understand the principles of digital art design by applying fundamental art knowledge to modern digital tools, enabling them to express their creativity through various forms of digital art, such as Digital Paint, Procreate, 3D Nomad Sculpt, and Motion Arts.

Traditional Thai music

Traditional Thai music is considered a part of the eight core subjects in the curriculum. In the Thai music course, students will learn both theory and practical skills to connect with Thai culture. The curriculum includes instruction on Klong Yao (Thai long drum) and Klui Pieng Or (Thai flute). Learning to play the Klong Yao and Klui Pieng Or helps develop various muscle groups in the body, increasing strength and endurance. It also enhances brain development in areas such as memory, reading, observation, and decision-making skills.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts

Our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts programs offer students Self-reliance, Service, Adventure, Scout Academics, and Drill. These are aimed at fostering the physical, intellectual, emotional, and moral development of students, helping them become responsible and good citizens who contribute to the progress, peace, and stability of the nation. It is essential to instill these values in our students through active learning activities, making the learning process fun and engaging, not boring.

In Music class, students will choose major and minor subjects based on their interests, such as guitar, bass, piano, or drums, following the Trinity curriculum. Major subjects are studied 3 days a week with a more intensive focus, while minor subjects are studied 1 day a week. The expert teachers can prepare students for direct examinations with Trinity College London.
Moreover, Music theory is integrated into the curriculum to deepen students’ understanding. Additionally, technology is incorporated into a Music Production course, allowing students to compose and create music in a fun and imaginative way.
Assessment: At the end of each semester, students will perform the songs they’ve learned in class, demonstrating their musical skills and development in both major and minor subjects.
Outcome: By the end of primary school (grades 1-6), students will have completed Trinity music grades 1-7, gaining significant musical experience.

Drums

Students will practice playing the Hi-Hat and Open Hi-Hat in eighth-note rhythms and practice sixteenth-note rhythms. They will also learn various types of drum fills from the Trinity Grade 2 curriculum.

Piano

Students will practice hand placement in different positions, learn about dynamics in music, and review how to read music notes and rest notes. They will also learn symbols such as sharp, flat, and natural, and practice playing intervals from the Trinity Grade 1 curriculum.

Guitar & Bass

Students will practice playing along with music, work on chord positions and finger placement for chords, and practice strumming patterns in whole note, quarter note, eighth note, and sixteenth note rhythms. They will also practice scales to apply them for maximum benefit.

Primary 2

Students will choose to study based on their interests, divided into major and minor subjects such as guitar, bass, piano, and drums within the Trinity curriculum. Major subjects are studied 3 days a week, while minor subjects are studied 1 day a week.

Drums

Students will practice playing the Ride cymbal in eighth-note rhythms, learn about rest notes, and understand the “simile” symbol, which instructs the player to repeat the previous bar. They will also practice playing with different dynamics from the Trinity Grade 3 curriculum.

Piano

Students will practice hand placement and finger coordination, become familiar with playing in the key of D, and learn about dynamics and the staccato symbol. They will also practice eighth-note and sixteenth-note rhythms.

Guitar & Bass

Students will practice playing along with music, work on picking (down-up) in eighth-note rhythms, and practice chord positions and finger placement. They will also practice strumming patterns in whole note, quarter note, and eighth note rhythms. Additionally, they will work on scales to help them apply the knowledge effectively.

Primary 3

Students will choose to study based on their interests, divided into major and minor subjects such as guitar, bass, piano, and drums within the Trinity curriculum. Major subjects are studied 3 days a week, while minor subjects are studied 1 day a week.

Drums

Students will practice the drums following the Trinity Grade 4 curriculum, focusing on developing comprehensive skills. In addition to playing songs, students will practice listening, reading sheet music, and playing rhythms accurately.

Piano

Students will practice hand placement and finger coordination, learn about different types of beats, practice playing intervals, and learn to play in the key of D minor. They will also work on dynamics and familiarize themselves with various musical symbols.

Guitar & Bass

Students will practice picking (down-up) in eighth-note rhythms, learn 1 scale per semester, and study 5 forms of the pentatonic scale each term. They will practice playing along with music, work on chord positions and finger placement, and practice strumming patterns in whole note, quarter note, eighth note, and sixteenth note rhythms. Scales will also be practiced to ensure effective application of their learning.

Primary 4

Students will choose to study based on their interests, divided into major and minor subjects such as guitar, bass, piano, and drums within the Trinity curriculum. Major subjects are studied 3 days a week, while minor subjects are studied 1 day a week.

Students will practice according to the Trinity Grade 5 curriculum.

Piano

Students will practice according to the Trinity Grade 4 curriculum.
